Sketchclub – this app is one of the most versatile drawing apps you can buy. The best part of this app is the community based gallery system that allows you to view, chat with and comment on other users of the apps art.

ProCreate – If you are looking to produce hi resolution 4000×4000, look no further. ProCreate comes with the most amazing brush system that you will every see in an app. The lighthouse picture I drew was done in Procreate.

After my panels are completed I use Strip Design to layout the comic and add titles, balloon text etc. I have some success with the Comic Life app and in certain situations, so it is still part of my arsenal.

Once the Comic is complete it is posted here to my WordPress blog using the browser.

That’s all there is too it.

This comic started out with two geeky teenagers, I thought it would be funny to use two animals instead.

Here is a lighthouse digital painting I did with Procreate for iPad.  I love how many brushes are available.  I am still having problems mimicking water-colour wet on wet, but I think i have somewhat copied the style.  I should mention that  the original art was copied from an 1975 copy of The Art of WaterColor Painting.  Copyright 1975 M. Grumbacher, Inc.  Its a magazine style art instruction book.
